The Kachok trek has waterfalls, the Bamboo Rafting trek has the river, and this trek is all about the secret summit. While a mountain is technically too large to be kept hidden, this path through the Virachey National Park is entirely unique to Ratanakiri Trekking Club. No other tour guide/agency offers this experience, which is a shame, because the destination is one of the most gorgeous, expansive views of the park one can find. Furthermore, the trek to and from the peak is flush with unique landmarks and wildlife.

Another perk of this trek is visiting the remote village of Koh Pong, where few foreigners ever go. Like the Kachok, they are also practicing Animists, but their culture is unique. We will sit down and dine with one of the locals in their home, as well as get a tour of their ornate cemetery.

Does this sound like the trek for you?
